এখন থেকে হুয়াওয়ে ফোনে প্রি-ইনস্টল করা ফেসবুক এপস আর পাওয়া যাবে না। এই স্থগিত এর তালিকায় রয়েছে Facebook app, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp। রয়টার্সের মতে, নতুন নিষেধাজ্ঞা শুধুমাত্র হুয়াওয়ের নতুন ফোনের জন্য প্রযোজ্য।

বর্তমান ব্যবহারকারীরা গুগল এর পরিষেবা চলাকালীন সময়ে এসকল এপস এর সকল আপডেট সুবিধা পাবেন।যতদিন পর্যন্ত না চীন সরকার এবং যুক্তরাষ্ট্র সরকার এর মধ্য গুগল এর পরিষেবা প্রদান বিষয়ক নতুন চুক্তি চালু হবে ততদিন হুয়াওয়ে কে কঠিন সময়ের মধ্য দিয়ে যেতে হবে।
